Welcome to VetJobPortal

By creating an account, you are joining a platform built specifically for Nigerian military veterans and military spouses. These terms exist to keep the platform safe, fair, and useful for everyone. They are not meant to be intimidating — just clear.

Who can join

VetJobPortal is open to Nigerian military veterans, military spouses, and verified employers. Veterans must have served in the Nigerian Armed Forces or a recognised allied service. Military spouses are the partners of active or former service members. Employers must be legitimate organisations with genuine hiring needs.

Keeping your profile honest

We ask that all information you provide is accurate. We verify service backgrounds by contacting military headquarters, so inaccurate service details will simply not pass verification. This protects your credibility and the platform's integrity. Deliberately false information will result in account closure.

For employers

Job listings must be for real positions at real organisations. We review every listing before it goes live. If a posting is found to be misleading or inappropriate, we will remove it and may suspend the account. We want employers to find excellent veteran talent — that only works when listings are genuine.

Respectful use

VetJobPortal is a professional platform. Please treat other users with respect. Harassment, spam, or any attempt to misuse the platform will not be tolerated. If you experience any issues, contact us immediately at support@vetjobportal.com.

Our role

We are a platform that facilitates connections. We do not make hiring decisions and are not party to any employment agreement between a veteran and an employer. We do our best to match the right people — but the final decisions rest with both parties.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. For any disputes, the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja will have jurisdiction. We hope it never comes to that — if you have a concern, please just reach out to us first.
