Key Responsibilities • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable contract terms. • Oversee purchase orders for local and foreign supplies, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. • Develop cost-saving strategies and optimise procurement expenditure. • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance. • Collaborate with relevant departments on demand forecasting and inventory management. • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, applicable regulations, and company standards. • Identify supply chain risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. • Lead, coach, and supervise the procurement team to achieve operational targets. • Prepare procurement reports, analyse performance data, and recommend improvements. • Review and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
